Title of lecture: Digital Implant Therapy for a Predictable Aesthetic Smile Rehabilitation
Today’s digital implant technology has transformed the workflow in clinical implant dentistry. Implant dentists have benefitted immensely from an efficient and more precise digital workflow in preoperative implant planning to achieve an optimal aesthetic and functional implant-supported prosthesis. With intraoral digital scanning and cone beam computerized tomography (CBCT), the current digital implant technology enables accurate merging of data files for optimal implant surgical planning and 3D printing of digital surgical guide to place the dental implant fixture into an ideal 3-dimensional position for optimal aesthetic and functional definitive prostheses. From the prosthodontics perspective, current digital 3D printing of resin provisional restoration and computer-aided designing and manufacturing (CADCAM) of customized titanium abutment are highly predictable and cost-effective, rapidly replacing the unpredictable and error-prone traditional " lost wax technique" workflow.
This lecture will share a reliable digital workflow incorporating digital impression (optical intra-oral scan),digital restoratively driven implant planning, 3D printing of provisional restoration and CAD-CAM technology for a predictable and aesthetically pleasing outcome for maxillary anterior smile makeover cases

Clinical Application of Lasers in Dentistry
The introduction of lasers as an adjunct in dental treatment protocols has completely changed the prognosis and has become one of the most indispensable technologies in dental practice. This technology has been applied clinically in soft tissue and hard tissue procedures, as a diagnostic tool, and pain therapy. Since 1989 lasers have been proven to provide painless and bloodless procedures, while also improving predictability of outcomes, patient compliance, and operator ease. Over the last decade, many advances have emerged in the treatment of peri-implantitis, periodontics, endodontics and oral medicine. this lecture focuses on providing overview of the clinical applications of lasers in dentistry.

Title of lecture : Removable Partial Dentures: Designing and methods of fabrication (Conventional, Digital & Hybrid)
Removable Partial Dentures (RPDs) remain essential in rehabilitating partially edentulous patients, providing a functional, cost-effective, and biologically acceptable treatment option. This lecture covers the fundamental principles of RPD design including support, stability, retention, reciprocation, major and minor connectors, guiding planes, and occlusal schemeswhile emphasizing the biomechanical considerations crucial for long-term clinical success. A major component of the lecture highlights the ongoing digital transformation in prosthodontics, with advancements such as intraoral scanning, virtual surveying, CAD-based RPD framework design, digital path-of-insertion analysis, and modern additive or subtractive manufacturing techniques. Technologies like Selective Laser Melting (SLM), Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), and milling of resin or metal alloys have significantly improved accuracy, reproducibility, and reduced the need for chairside adjustments. By comparing analog and digital workflows, this lecture aims to equip students with updated and practical insights to enhance precision, efficiency, and overall patient outcomes in RPD therapydemonstrating how digitalization strengthens, rather than replaces, core prosthodontic principles.
