Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Nurul Huda Abd Rahman is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in electrical and electronic engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Electric, Electronic & Systems Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electronics from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), where she actively contributes to research and academic development in the field of antennas and electromagnetic systems.
Her research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including antenna design for various applications, array antennas, reflector and lens antennas with beam shaping, and wearable and flexible antennas. Additionally, she has expertise in RF and microwave system measurement and electromagnetic analysis, focusing on optimizing antenna performance for modern communication and sensing applications. Her work has contributed to advancements in wireless communication, medical applications, and smart wearable technologies.
As a member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Dr. Nurul Huda is actively engaged in professional engineering communities, ensuring her research aligns with industry trends and global technological advancements. She has collaborated on various research projects and has been involved in academic and professional initiatives aimed at advancing antenna and RF technology.
Prof. Dr. K. Lakshmi Narayanan is a distinguished professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Francis Xavier Engineering College. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering (2007) and a Master of Technology in VLSI & Embedded Systems from Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute (2012).
As an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Prof. Dr. Narayanan’s research interests encompass Embedded Systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, and Image Processing. He has made significant contributions to the academic community through publications, patents, and participation in seminars and workshops in his areas of expertise.
With his extensive experience and dedication to technological advancements, Prof. Dr. Narayanan continues to be a valuable contributor to the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering, inspiring students and researchers alike.
