Professor Graham Kendall is an experienced higher education leader and internationally recognised researcher. He currently serves as Vice-Chancellor of GlobalNxt University, Malaysia. Previously, he was Vice-Chancellor of MILA University and Provost and CEO of the University of Nottingham Malaysia. He also served as Pro-Vice-Chancellor for the University of Nottingham. Professor Kendall is an Emeritus Professor of the University of Nottingham and has published approximately 300 peer-reviewed papers in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, and evolutionary computation. His research has attracted more than 20,000 citations. In recent years, his work has increasingly focused on research integrity, ethical publishing, responsible research assessment, and the governance challenges associated with emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence. He continues to support higher education through visiting, honorary, and distinguished professorial appointments in Hong Kong and India, while advising universities on strategy, governance, research excellence, and innovation.
Mohammed Alias Yusof is an Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2002, a Master of Science in Integrated Construction Project Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2005, and a PhD in Civil Engineering from Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia in 2013. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.His research expertise focuses on blast-resistant materials and technology, particularly blast-resistant concrete, glass, and the application of military and commercial explosives in protective engineering. He successfully developed a blast-resistant concrete panel and was granted a patent by Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia in 2016. He is also the author of the book Blast Resistant Materials : Concrete and Glass.With more than 100 publications in the field of blast-resistant materials and technology, Dr. Mohammed Alias Yusof has contributed extensively to academic research and professional practice. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to civil engineering and blast-resistant materials research, he was awarded the Distinguished Scientist Award by the Venus International Foundation in 2024.
Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Rashdan bin Saad is the Head of the Department of Aeronautic Engineering & Aviation at the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM). He obtained his Master of Engineering and PhD in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom, specializing in aerodynamics and hypersonic flow control. His research and consultation areas include green aerospace technologies, aerodynamics, hypersonic flow, UAV systems, sustainable aviation, additive manufacturing, aerospace fluid mechanics, and renewable energy systems. He has led and collaborated in numerous national and international research projects with a combined research grant value exceeding RM2.6 million, funded by organizations including the Asian Office of Aerospace Research and Development (AOARD) and the Newton-Ungku Omar Fund, while actively engaging with industry and government agencies in aerospace engineering and technology development initiatives. Dr. Rashdan has published extensively in international journals and conferences related to aerodynamics, hypersonic flow, UAVs, and sustainable aerospace technologies. He is also an accreditation panel evaluator for the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) and Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) under the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), contributing actively toward the advancement of sustainable and future-ready aerospace engineering education and research in Malaysia.
