Tun Dato’ Seri Zaki bin Tun Azmi

Tun Dato’ Seri Zaki bin Tun Azmi is a Malaysian barrister who served as the sixth Chief Justice of Malaysia. Tun Zaki has served at the Attorney General’s office for 15 years in various positions before being called to the Malaysian Bar in 1983. With an extensive experience of 37 years, Tun Zaki was appointed as Federal Court judge and became President of the Court of Appeal before holding the highest position as Chief Justice in 2008. After retiring, Tun Zaki has remained active in devoting his services to the country with various important roles at the national and international level. Currently, he is the Chancellor of Multimedia University and MAHSA University as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Prof Haniki bin Nik Mohamed

Prof Dr Mohamad Haniki bin Nik Mohamed obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1993. He later obtained the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, USA in 1996 and continued with a post-doctoral fellowship training in cardiopulmonary in 1997. After that, he joined the Clinical & Administrative Pharmacy Dept., School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang. Under the USM Healthy Campus Program, Dr Mohamad Haniki initiated the first dedicated and multidisciplinary Quit Smoking Clinic on campus in January 2002. Currently, he is a professor in clinical pharmacy in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

Dr Rahela Ambras Khan

Dr Rahela Ambras Khan is the Head of Pharmacotherapy Services, Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL). She graduated from the University of Malaya in 2018 with a PhD degree in Evidence-based pharmacotherapy, where her specialisation was in Antibiotic De-escalation. She obtained her Board of Pharmacy Specialist (Pharmacotherapy) certificate in 2013. Recently, she has been awarded a Subject Matter Expert recognition in Infectious Diseases from the Ministry of Health Malaysia. At the Pharmacy Department of HKL, she coordinates several committees, including antimicrobial stewardship, credentialing and privileging, clinical pharmacy services, research & development, and others.

Puan Rosliza Lajis

Rosliza Lajis obtained her BPharm (Hons) from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia and completed her Master of International Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics from the Cardiff University, United Kingdom. She joined the Ministry of Health (MoH) in 2002 Malaysia and since 2020 she has led the New Drug Product Section, Centre of Product & Cosmetic Evaluation, National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) to date. Rosliza’s expertise covers all matters of Access to Medicine and she is highly involved in international and local discussions pertaining to Drug Accessibility, Formulary Management, Pharmacoeconomics & Health Economics and Managed Entry Agreements (MEAs). Her current interest is focused on the areas of good reliance practice and collaborative assessment initiatives as part of a strategy towards facilitating an earlier access to a quality-assured, safe and effective medicines.

Herlinda Mawardika

Miss Herlinda Mawardika is lecturer from the Pharmacy Department of Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Brawijaya University before completing her Master in Molecular Biotechnology from Hiroshima University, Japan. Her current field of interest is microbiology including microbial inoculants in in agriculture
