Dr. Kottilingam Kottursamy is an Associate Professor at the School of Computing, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India. In 2017, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from the Anna University, India. His teaching career started since 2009 where he became one of the lecturers in S.V. College of Engineering and Technology, Puliangudi, Tamilnadu, India. He is one of the Board Members of Studies in Thiruvallur University, India for two years starting 2019 to 2020. Dr Kottilingam Kottursamy is also involved in an editorial and review services for International Journal of Swarm Intelligence Research (IJSIR), Access (IEEE), Journal of Computer and Electrical Engineering, Elsevier and more. Besides, he owns a few patents such as A Jamming Detection System for A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) which was published in September 2019 and Threshold segmentation based Multi-layer Analysis for Detecting Diabetic Retinopathy using Convolutional Neural Network which was published in the next following year. As an experienced lecturer who empowered a few skills like C++, R Programming, Python, SQL and NS3, he also funded a project for Co-Principal Investigator, “Prognosis of Microaneurysm and early diagnosis system for non – proliferative diabetic retinopathy using deep convolutional neural network”, with University of California.
Rozaida Ghazali is currently a Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). She graduated with a PhD degree in Higher Order Neural Networks from the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom in 2007. Earlier, in 2003 she completed her M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She received her B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1997. In 2001, Rozaida joined the academic staff in UTHM. Her research area includes neural networks, swarm intelligence, optimization, data mining, and time series prediction. She has supervised a number of PhD and master students to successful completion and has published more than 150 refereed papers in top venues. She acts as a reviewer for various journals and conferences. She has also served as an editor for Springer book series, a conference chair, steering committee, and technical committee for numerous international conferences. She has led more than 15 research projects as a Principal Investigator under UTHM, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation, Malaysia.
