Dr. Jalina Binti Karim

Dr. Jalina binti Karim is a senior lecturer and head of the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with expertise in perioperative nursing, midwifery nursing, interprofessional education, and simulation-based learning. In her role at UKM, Dr. Jalina is responsible for overseeing the Department of Nursing, facilitating interprofessional education, implementing simulation-based learning strategies, and supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. Dr. Jalina is also active in academic research and has contributed to various studies. For example, she has investigated the acceptance and perceptions towards interprofessional learning among medical and nursing students at UKM and assessed critical thinking levels among nursing students.

Mr. Mohamed Kassim

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Managing Director- Dynamic Tape Global

Mohamed Kassim is a Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist in Brunei Darussalam with over two decades of experience, including 14 years with the Ministry of Health, Brunei. He specializes in Musculoskeletal and Sports Recovery, Cranio-Mandibular (TMD) management, and Vision & Neuro-Cognition training. As a co-founder of APTER Institute, he conducts international workshops for healthcare professionals. His work integrates advanced rehabilitation technologies and interdisciplinary collaboration between Physicians, dentists and physiotherapists. As an International Instructor for the Dynamic Tape Method, Mohamed has contributed significantly to the education of healthcare professionals worldwide. His interest in Vision and Neuro-Cognition Training has enabled him to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance enhancement, applying these techniques in both clinical and sports contexts.

Dr. Mohd Zahri Abdul Aziz

Dr. Mohd Zahri Abdul Aziz is a distinguished academic at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), serving at the Advanced Medical and Dental Institute (AMDI). He holds a PhD in Health Science with a specialization in Medical Radiation Physics. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the field of medical physics. Notably, he was part of a team that developed a pioneering technique known as HyBIRT (Hypofractionated Blended Image-Guided Radiotherapy) for treating tongue cancer. This innovative approach has shown promising results, with patients experiencing near-complete restoration of tongue function six months post-treatment. Research interest: Brachytherapy, Monte Carlo Calculation, Radiation Dosimetry, Treatment Planning System, Image Processing. In addition to his research and clinical work, Dr. Mohd Zahri is actively involved in academic publishing and has a presence on platforms such as Google Scholar and ORCID, where his contributions to medical physics are well-documented.
