Prof. Dr. Jamal Hisham Hashim is a Visiting Professor of environmental health at Universiti Selangor and Universitas Diponegoro. He is also the director of Provenue Corporation Sdn. Bhd. which specialises in health risk and impact assessment. He was formerly a research fellow at the United Nations University-International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH) and Malaysia’s first appointed Professor of Environmental Health at the National University of Malaysia (UKM).
Prof. Dr. Jamal obtained his PhD in environmental health from the University of Michigan. He taught, conducted research and consultancy in environmental and occupational health at UKM and UNU-IIGH for 36 years, and supervised a total of 14 PhD students. His research interests are mainly on the health effects of heavy metals, pesticides, solvents, air pollution, risk assessment, and recently, climate change. He has been the principal and co-investigator of 19 research projects and has over 410 publications and presentations to date, including 104 full articles in refereed and indexed journals. He is an editor of the Environmental Analysis, Health and Toxicology and Frontiers in Occupational Health journals. He has been engaged as an environmental health consultant in over 90 local and overseas projects, primarily in the area of environmental health impact and risk assessment.
Prof. Dr. Jamal has also been consulted by the World Health Organization, International Atomic Energy Agency, Risk Science Institute and the Institute of Medicine in the U.S., the governments of Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia on various environmental health issues. He is a registered environmental impact assessment consultant with the Department of Environment, Malaysia, a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in the U.K., an honorary fellow of the Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Malaysia and a council member of the Asia Chapter of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology. He sat on the Scientific Expert Panel of the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA), and currently chairs the Thematic Working Group of Environmental Health Experts under the National Environmental Health Action Plan (NEHAP).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Haidzir Abd. Manaf is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Haidzir is currently heading the Centre of Physiotherapy Studies at UiTM, rendering his expert knowledge and advice for the curriculum development of undergraduate as well as postgraduate physiotherapy programmes. He is also the president of the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association since 2019, and is dedicated to uplifting the Physiotherapy profession in Malaysia. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Haidzir is currently serving as the chairman of the “Jawatankuasa Ahli Panel Penilai Akredetasi MAHPC-MQA” and also as a member of the Malaysia Allied Health Profession Council.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Haidzir is also the Head of Clinical Rehabilitation and Exercise Research Group at UiTM, and is actively involved in research activities. He has received numerous international and national research grants and has authored 43 publications in various international, national and specialised journals. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Haidzir has been frequently invited as a conference speaker, at both national and international levels. He has authored a book chapter in Case Studies in Physiotherapy in 2013 and is an invited reviewer for well-known journals. He has guided many PhD and postgraduate students in their research work. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Haidzir is also the proud recipient of 6 gold and 3 silver innovation award medals. He has been a constant recipient of excellence awards from UiTM since 2015.

Dr. Noorazrul Azmie is a lecturer of diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He obtained his PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Western Australia in 2016. He is an expert in radiotherapy. His research interests are mainly in medical physics, radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging where he has done various research studies on that field. He is currently a researcher at OncoRay-Center for Radiation Research in Oncology, in the field of Modelling and Biostatistics in Radiation Oncology in Germany. He has more than 30 publications mainly focusing on the area of radiotherapy. He actively participated in various research projects and was a principal researcher for 8 out of 19 research projects. Currently, he is involved in five ongoing collaboration grants in various research projects with Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Innoveam Sdn.Bhd., etc. He has supervised a total of 7 Master's students and 4 PhD students.

Prof. Dr. Zailina obtained her PhD in Environmental Health Science from the University of Michigan and her Master’s degree in Public Health (Environmental Health) from the University of Minnesota. Prof. Dr. Zailina Hashim is a retired Professor of environmental health at Universiti Putra Malaysia. She is currently the Professor of AMAL at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
She was formerly the Principal Consultant of Provenue Corporation Sdn. Bhd. She is also a committee member in developing the Hazardous Waste Malaysian Standard and served as TWA-10 Environmental Health expert panel for National Environmental Health Action Plan (NEHAP). In addition, she is one of the consultant panels on “The Impact of Mining and Agriculture Activities on Drinking Water Quality in Pengkalan Hulu, Perak”. Prof. Dr. Zailina has more than 25 years of research experience and has received numerous international and national awards in research.

Prof. Dr. Juliana Jalaludin is a Professor of environmental health at Universiti Putra Malaysia. She was the former head of the Environmental and Occupational Health Department at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Juliana obtained her PhD in Community Health from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and she has more than 23 years of research experience in the field of environmental and occupational health. Till the date, she has supervised a total of 13 PhD students.
Prof. Dr. Juliana is a member of The Panel of Assessors Study Programme in UPM and the Chairman of Industrial Training and Jaringan Industry for BSKPP Programme JKPP FPSK, UPM. She is also the chairperson of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and a committee of the Post-Graduate in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. At the same time, Prof. Dr. Juliana also acts as the Director of the Summer Crash Course of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM as well as the Deputy President of Malaysia Forum Clean Air Society (MyCAS).

Dr. Kamarul Amin Abdullah @ Abu Bakar is a medical imaging scientist who has an interest in clinical diagnostic radiography and digital image processing. His research is mainly focused on how to improve the current medical imaging protocols and enhance the detection of clinical indicators of diseases. His publications and research works have been actively disseminated through many international journals and annual scientific meetings across the globe. He has been invited by many national and international institutions as a guest speaker in their conferences and seminars. He has published a number of book chapters and a few high-quality books. He is recognised as an active peer reviewer at many medical imaging scientific or peer-reviewed journals such as Academic Radiology, Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences, Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences and Radiography Journal. He has also been appointed as a member of the International Advisory boards and Editorial boards for international journals. He is an active member of the Malaysian Society of Radiographers and a regular member of Persatuan Saintis Muslim Malaysia.
Dr. Kamarul was the Head of School of Medical Imaging and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer and a Deputy Dean of Academic and Graduates, Faculty of Health Sciences of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Terengganu, Malaysia. At Mi-CHEST2021, he will highlight his current research works on the use of new image processing techniques for early breast cancer detection and how artificial intelligence can be integrated to improve clinical diagnosis. His presentation title is “Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing to Improve Clinical Diagnosis: Medical Imaging Perspective”.

Dr. Muhammad Khalis is a Senior Lecturer of Physics at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He obtained his PhD in Physics from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2017. He is an expert in medical physics, radiation dosimetry, radiation physics and radiobiology. His research interests lie primarily in the area of radiation dose, CT scan, image quality and MRI. He was a principal researcher for 2 research projects and a co-researcher for 2 research projects. He has more than 30 ISI/Scopus indexed journal publications and 27 proceedings/conferences/innovations. Previously, he served as the Assistant Director (Medical Physicist) at Johor State Health Department for 5 years and Senior Medical Physicist at Institut Kanser Negara for about a year before joining UPM. He is a member of various professional bodies such as Malaysia Assoc Solid State (MASS), Institut Fizik Malaysia (IFM), International Society of Radiation Physics (ISRP), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) the United States of America, Certified QMS Lead Auditor of ISO 9001 and many more. He was also a panel member for Radiation Protection Officer Module of the Ministry of Health Malaysia in 2019 and Quality Assurance in Diagnostic Radiology (QUADRILL) of the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
Dr. Muhammad Khalis was appointed as a committee member for the 18th Asia-Oceania Congress of Medical Physics (AOCMP) in conjunction with the 16th South-East Asia Congress of Medical Physics (SEACOMP). He was also the secretary of the 5th IRPA-IOMP-WHO and IAEA Joint Workshop on Radiation Safety Culture as well as served as a member of the Scientific Committee for Malaysia 1st MRI Safety Conference at Institut Kanser Negara, Putrajaya in 2017. On top of that, Dr. Muhammad Khalis has also served as a committee member for Quality Assurance Audit in Diagnostic Radiology (QUADRILL) under the Ministry of Health Malaysia for 2 years.

Mr. Mohamed Kassim is a Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist in Brunei Darussalam. He was previously employed under the Ministry of Health, Brunei for 14 years. At present, he is doing private practice in the area of Musculoskeletal and Sports Recovery science. He graduated from India in Physiotherapy and pursued higher studies in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, by obtaining a Manual Therapy Certification from Australia and Sports Physical Therapy Diploma from International Olympic Committee, UK. He has extensive training in Cranio-Facial (Temporomandibular Disorder) Management with the University of St. Augustine Cranio-Facial Program and Headache management through the Watson Headache Institute. He is trained in the Rocabado method of TMJ management and has foundations from Edward F. Wright, D.D.S., and M.S & Jeffery Okeson D.M.D. He is also an International Instructor for DYNAMIC TAPE METHOD. His other areas of interest are Vision and Neuro-Cognition Training and he is a Vision & Neurocognition coach applying in both Rehabilitation & Performance.
Mr. Mohamed Kassim is quick to adopt new technologies in rehabilitation to supplement his clinical practice. He has mandated himself in educating his patients and ensuring they have a level of understanding to help them be a part of the decision-making process. He enjoys educating health care professionals in all areas and sharing his clinical experiences and expertise, hence he co-founded Advanced Physiotherapy Education & Research (APTER) Institute (www.apterphysio.com) where he conducts workshops courses for Physiotherapist, Dentists and other Health Care Professionals in India, Malaysia, Brunei and other parts of the world. He has also presented at international conferences in the area of TMD. His vision is to create an interdisciplinary working concept among Dentists and Physiotherapists all over Asia.
