Dr. Dharmesh Jaichandbhai Shah, studied Bachelor in Engineering (Major in Electronics & Communication Engineering) – September 1992, L.D. College of Engineering, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India. Masters In Engineering, Major in Aerospace Engineering – January 2001, Specialization in Control & Guidance, Secured Second Rank in Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering – December 2008, Faculty of Technology & Engineering M.S. University, Baroda, India. He filed and got Patent on “Automatic Animal Detection on Indian Roads” – 4144, issued on 04/11/2016. (Joint Patent). He received various awards Pedagogical Innovation Award 2013 (GTU Innovation Council) , International Academic Excellence Award 2020-21 (I2OR Academy) , I2OR National Innovative Educator Award 2020 (I2OR Academy) , Man of Excellence Award 2020 (Indian Achiever’s Forum). His areas of Research are Soft Computing, Artificial Intelligence, VLSI Design, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Image Processing, Intelligent Control System Design.
He was awarded with GTU Pedagogical Innovation Award. He guided 7 Ph.D. Students and now ongoing 05 students. He had Published / Submitted Research Papers more than 100 numbers. His current position is Director of Technical Course & Dean for Faculty of Engineering & Technology. Also Dean of Faculty Affairs, Dean of Faculty of Allied Sciences, Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar, Gujarat. He is also CEO & Director, Shruj LED Technologies Private Limited, Ahmedabad. He also holds Director, Industrial Consulting, Gujarat Radiation Services, Ahmedabad. Professional experience including Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University, Kalol, Gujarat, India Academic Director & Dean – School of Technology. Shailesh K. Patel, studied Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) completed with 62.88 % (1999) Specialization- Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Gujarat University, GEC, Bhuj.. Masters in Engineering [Mechanical] completed with 78.11 % in April 2009. Specialization- Thermal Engineering [Heat and Mass Transfer] M. B. M. Engineering College, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He completed his Ph.D. in Ganpat University, Kherva, Mehsana [2019]. He has total teaching Experience of 21 Years at Swami Sachchidanand Polytechnic College, Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar. He is currently holding Position of Associate Dean, External Affairs, Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar.
He filed and received a patent on “Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Generation System” published in January-2022. The Patent Application number is 202121048302 A. There are totally 06 candidates are pursuing their PhD under his guidance at Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar. His field of interest Heat transfer, Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning, Entrepreneurship Development and Data Science. He attended lot of conferences, short term programmes etc. He organised number of international conferences and published number of international journal publications.
MUHAMMAD ARKAM B. CHE MUNAAIM working as Adjunct Professor, PhD, PEPC, IntPE, PhD (Energy Conservation), USM, MSc. (Building Tech), USM. He studied Diploma Electrical Engineering (Power),from University Technology Malaysia, 1998, Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical) (Hons), University Technology Malaysia, 2000. MSc. Building Technology, University Science Malaysia, Penang, 2010 and Doctor of Philosophy (Energy Conservation), University Science Malaysia, Penang, 2014. is Registered Professional Engineer Malaysia since 2005 and a Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia in 2020. He holds three competencies as a SPAN Qualified Person (National Water Services Commission-SPAN) for water supply and sewerage treatment system, a Certified Energy Manager Registered (REEM) with Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia (ST) and a Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM) of Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB).
Currently he serves Engineering Accreditation Department as EAC/ETAC Panel and appointed as Committee Member of Application Committee in the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). He is a Technical Expert of Green Technology Financing Scheme from Malaysian Green Technology Corporation, Industrial Advisory Panel for Universiti Sains Malaysia, The Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia and University Malaysia of Computer Science & Engineering (UniMY). He is a Registered National Industrial Experts (DPIN) with the Ministry of Human Resource Malaysia. He secured more than 20 memberships and affiliations includes from Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), Institution Electrical & Electronics Engineers (MIEEE), Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), ASEAN Engineers Register (ASEAN Eng), ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) etc.
Ir. Dr. Siow Chun Lim received his Ph. D in Electrical Power Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Programme Coordinator of the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at Multimedia University, Malaysia. Since 2018, he has been actively promoting awareness of electrical engineering standards among electrical engineering undergraduates by speaking at more than 20 universities to date. His research interest includes lightning risk assessment, electrical earthing material, sustainable energy and engineering education. He is the national expert representing Malaysia in the IEC TC 81 (Lightning Protection). He is currently the Chair of Electrical Engineering Technical Division, The Institution of Engineers Malaysia and is also the Honorary Secretary of the ASEAN Engineering Inspectors – Electrical Installation (AEI) of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisation (AFEO). As a Council Member of IEM (2021-2023), he is serving in the Activities Standing Committee, Admission and Practical Training Standing Committee as well as Information and Publication Standing Committee. He is also the current Principal Bulletin Editor of Jurutera, a monthly publication of IEM. Back in November 2019, he founded a spinoff company which offers consultancy in the lightning risk assessment field. He is a professional electrical engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, a Professional HRD Corporation Certified Trainer and is also trained in Design Thinking and Visualisation Through Freehand. Dr. Siow is a trainer in the field of lightning protection and is serving as an External Examiner in an institution of higher learning in Malaysia
Mr. Zen works as part of the international team growing the Institution’s membership and extending the Institution’s reach in the South East Asia and Oceania Region. He works with organisations, institutions and the local member community to promote the Institution’s role in improving people’s lives through better careers. One of his roles, is to engage and educate on the benefits of professional registration to all engineers and technicians who are at different levels in their professional career. He is currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Edith Cowan University, Australia and more than 20 years of work experience in the manufacturing and recruitment services sector. Prior to joining the Institution, he previously worked for CPA Australia (a global professional body), promoting the accounting professional registration for shared services and employers in the north of Malaysia.
